Vacation (All I Ever Wanted)...
Vacation, had to...still work, actually. Also, some career updates.
Hi all,
First of all, if that song is now stuck in your head, I’m sorry. It’s stuck in mine, too. Welcome to the party. Next, I’ll keep this short. I’m away from the newsletter this week and next week for a brief, post-election break. I’m very tired, and I bet you are, too. During this time I’ll be catching up on some due dates that have crept up on me while I focused on election coverage.
In other news, I’m officially working on a second book that is going to be out much sooner than you might expect. More on that to follow, but I’ll say the topic is…timely. I’m also working on two other projects I’m excited to share soon. In less fun news, my column at the National Observer is winding down after running much longer than it was intended to. I’m ever-grateful to the team there for having me and excited to continue following the work of their great journalists.
I also regret to inform you that I was not chosen as the new pope. I’m as shocked as you are. I’ll now turn my focus to becoming the next federal NDP leader.
Okay, that’s all from me for now. Enjoy the spring weather and cleaning and the smell of the rain. I’ll see you back here in two weeks!
Wonderful news.
The NDP needs you.
Happy to support.
Enjoy your break! I'd vote for you!
