Reminds me of this story Alexander Cockburn told about Noam Chomsky:

“Chomsky went to the dentist, who made his inspection and observed that the patient was grinding his teeth. Consultation with Mrs. Chomsky disclosed that teeth-grinding was not taking place during the hours of sleep. When else? They narrowed it down quickly enough to the period each morning when Chomsky was reading the New York Times, unconsciously gnashing his molars at every page.”

Sorry to hear. Hopefully you recover soon and well so you'll be able to put a DENT in ALL the projects you had planned.

Same here, though only retirement cured it. Follow all recommendations regarding diet, exercise, self-care, etc - preferably the loopiest hippie advice you can get.
