A space for us to chat and connect
With our Substack community growing and with so many great conversations to be had, I’m starting a subscriber chat.
This is a new feature on the Substack app in which accounts can set up chat channels for subscribers. From time to time I’ll post questions, thoughts, and updates that come my way, and you can jump into the discussion as you please.
To join our chat, you’ll need to download the Substack app (messages are sent via the app, not email).
It’ll be a casual, from time to time thing but could be fun and interesting. Hope to see you there.
How to get started
Download the app by clicking this link or the button below. Chat is only on iOS for now, but chat is coming to the Android app soon.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.

Thanks for the email. The only thing left is when I push Chat on my phone, I get the message, "Chat is coming soon to Android. We'll let you know when it is ready to use." Growing pains. But I can read your material on the phone.
Okay, a little curiosity had me open the verification email ON MY PHONE and not on my computer. And voila, it let me sign in. I did try the chat on my Android phone and got a message that chat doesn't work on Android yet. So feel free to toast my chat items of no interest here.
