OK ... here's a challenge ... you may/may not want to respond to. Household economic pressures are rising in concern and it manifest itself in the latest election. The root cause is neoliberalism (economic theory) introduced & promoted by Thatcher/Regan/Mulroney and practiced ever since. Like most balls when they start to roll downhill, they become difficult to stop. Do you think the governing party in Canada can contain/reverse neoliberalism by changing the economic pathway through Policy? Can shareholder supremacy finally be contained by proper taxation - which should assist with a better distribution of wealth? This looks like two questions but it's really just one - with two parts.

Why does Bluesky now prompt me to sign in when I try to look at your postings? This just changed today, and isn't happening with anyone else that I follow.

Well that's a good question. I'm not sure. I'll have a look.

I see that you're still posting lots on Xitter. Does your Bluesky content (which I can't see now) duplicate this? As a freelancer, shouldn't you make it easy for people to see your stuff? Asking as a fan.

Mostly duplicated.

Hi David,

Obviously it’s not this simplistic, and there are other factors. But do you think the NDP now looks back and wishes they hadn’t “taken the bait” and decided to end their agreement with the liberals? Conversely, if you’re a mark carney supporter, do you thank Pierre poilievre for goading Singh and starting the whole chain?

Thanks, Chelsea

Great question thank you.

Thanks to all for your great questions. I'm looking forward to answering as many of them as I can!

As long as it doesn't interfere with your vacation! I really appreciate your sharing your background, btw. It's making me wonder how many people who grew up poor take the route you did...I know so many who went the other way, believing that aligning with Conservatives and/or corporatist Liberals would protect them and their children. IOW, falling for the propaganda.
